Craft fairs

I started attending craft fairs as a stall holder late last year. Previous to this I would only have been an attendee but I’ve always loved the innovation, uniqueness and passion of makers and their wares.

As this Christmas 2022 craft fair season draws to a close I can reflect on how lucky I am to meet old friends and make new friendships with other makers. I’ve tasted some fabulous cakes and bakes. I’ve bought some unique handmade presents and been astounded by the ‘outside the high street/box’ pieces that can be purchased direct from the maker.

Craft fairs should be plotted on Google maps as ‘places of interest’!!!
