A very very very old piece of Cocobolo - seasoned and purchased long before sustainability issues of this beautiful Central American exotic wood and recently gifted and repourposed into this fabulous trinket dish.
Cocobolo is famed for its orange to reddish brown colour and fabulous silky finish and this piece brings out all of that beauty.
It’s not finished in food safe oil /wax as there are better woods to put snacks in but as a hardwearing trinket dish it is capable of giving its new custodian some daily happiness!
